Verandas FAQs

Verandas: Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Veranda?
A Veranda must be attached to your home and is usually built to create a luxury outdoor patio area that leads to the outdoors.

How long is the delivery and installation?
Verandas typically take 4-6 weeks to manufacture. Depending on the complexity of the job, installation can be anywhere from 1 – 3 days.

Can I make changes to an order that I have already placed?
No. To ensure a speedy delivery once an order has been placed, it will be dispatched straight away to be manufactured. As soon as the Veranda is in production, changes are unable to be made.

Kid friendly?
Verandas are great as a covered area for children. It is best to add a Veranda Awning to ensure that you and your family are properly shaded on a really hot day.

I love them! But are they safe?
Verandas are surveyed by one of our specialists. We ensure that the Awning is fixed to a structurally sound wall or engineer a framework for the Veranda to be fixed to.

Warranty?
The Veranda and glass include a manufacturer-backed guarantee of 10 years. The aluminium structure is guaranteed for 25 years.

What is the Maximum Size?
The length is unlimited as we can always couple units together. The projection of the Veranda is 4 metres max.

What are they made of?
The structure of the Veranda is made of an aluminium. There are two different roof options, either Polycarbonate or Glass.

Do I need Planning Permission?
Planning consent is not typically an issue with home renovations, with the exception of grade listed buildings.
